MISSD (the Medication-Induced Suicide Prevention and Education Foundation in Memory of Stewart Dolin) is a unique nonprofit organization dedicated to honoring the memory of Stewart and other victims of akathisia by raising awareness and educating the public about the dangers of akathisia. MISSD aims to ensure that people suffering from akathisia's symptoms are accurately diagnosed so that needless deaths are prevented. A website, the creation of educational materials, and support of conferences such as Selling Sickness help to raise awareness and knowledge of akathisia and medication-induced suicides. The foundation advocates truth in disclosure, honesty in reporting, and legitimate drug trials. For more, please visit missd.co.

AM 1066 Logo

“They've finally been released! For the first time since radio station AM 1066 was seized by the Federal Government for tax evasion, their historic recordings (entered as evidence) are available to the public! Why let the federal government tell you what to think? YOU decide what really happened!”

AM 1066, a historical satire podcast, features the local radio station's broadcasts from the small town of Queen City, USA. Episodes take place in different years throughout the 1900s, with absurdist takes on radio shows, commercials, and historical events from each episode’s year. Fifty-two Stops and the Streets in Between: A Student Teacher’s Journey was a podcast that host James (@chicagostudentteacher) created to help all of those who are considering — or on their way to — becoming a teacher.

“There are so many things I have learned along the way,” James says, “and so many fears I have going forward. It’s my goal to share all of this with you in real time. My plan is to interview those who interact with a student teacher to get their insight and suggestions to be successful. I want them to tell me ALL the things I don't know I should ask, and when they do, we will all learn together. It’s my desire that the episodes are unscripted, raw, and real. I hope you join me in the last leg of my university education as a new student teacher!

  • Studio C recorded, edited, and hosted the show on this website, and distributed it to iTunes, Google Play, Spotify, TuneIn and Stitcher.

Join consultant, filmmaker, and activist Mary F. Morten as she delves into what it’s like to operate within and outside of the nonprofit industrial landscape; her new podcast is Gathering Ground. Along with her special guests, Mary answers questions from listeners and covers topics including racial and gender equity, and the experiences of people of color in leadership development and the nonprofit workforce.

  • The first 11 episodes were recorded in Studio C; since episode #5, Andy Miles has also handled the editing and occasional transcribing. During the pandemic, episodes have been recorded by the Chamber over Zoom and still edited and mixed by Studio C. We also host the podcast web page and distribute the show to iTunes, SoundCloud, Spotify, Google Podcasts, Stitcher, and Radio Public.

The Gene Pool Show

Gene Pool

The Gene Pool Show was a podcast tour of the artistic talent of Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood (and beyond). Guests included Uptown Poetry Slam founder Marc Kelly Smith and drummer-trombonist Ty Hanson, whose credits include backing James Brown, Frank Sinatra, The Jackson 5, and B.B. King. In other episodes Gene told his own story. He was a guest on “The Tonight Show” with Johnny Carson, and soon after had a cameo in David Byrne’s movie “True Stories.” He colorfully reminisces about the work he did assisting Rolling Stone cover photographer Mark Seliger on photo shoots of Beck, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Drew Barrymore.

The Hard Question with Blanquita Cullum is an unbiased and impartial interview-based program, illuminating key issues pertaining to Washington politics, national defense, homeland security, energy, the environment, the economy, and much more.

“When someone listens to my show,” Blanquita says, “I’m going to have people that you’re not normally going to hear in other places. I’ve proven to all sides that I just want to be a good presenter of the truth, and the truth stands more than any political point of view.” With decades of experience in broadcasting and government service, Cullum knows the decision makers, and her guest list routinely includes the names you hear in the headlines: governors, senators, ambassadors, foreign heads of state state, as well as regular citizens.

  • In 2021 and 2022 Studio C recorded and edited the audio and video versions of the show, as well as distributed the podcast and hosts the show page.

Join them as they explore the risks of popular health treatments that could harm you, interview special guests, share powerful stories from real people impacted by mainstream medicine, and educate their listeners to become their own experts. Know Risks is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that promotes the importance of doing your own research, asking questions, and making sure you are well informed before receiving any treatment.

"Turning A Million Eyes To Save Lives" was a podcast co-production of Innocents at Risk and Studio C.

Beginning in 2005, Innocents at Risk worked to raise awareness about the horrors of child trafficking in America and around the world. In 2008, Innocents at Risk launched the Flight Attendant Initiative to train flight attendants, who are our first line of defense in spotting and reporting situations of trafficking, and a year later, Innocents at Risk founder Deborah Sigmund took the Flight Attendant Initiative to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). An official protocol was established with DHS after several meetings that included Deborah and senior American Airlines flight attendant Sandra Fiorini. That protocol, called Blue Lightning, is used to this day.

Andy Miles co-hosted this monthly series which aimed to educate and motivate listeners through a series of conversations with flight attendants and passengers, hotel employees, transportation officials, government officeholders, and anti-trafficking activists who are making a difference and helping to save the lives of women and children.

  • Innocents at Risk hired Studio C’s Andy Miles to produce, record, edit, and host the video and audio versions of “Turning a Million Eyes on Children.”
